Wednesdays will never be the same

Because fried fish - the real one, with fish from the market, done right - deserves a day of its own. And we dedicated one to it.

Every Wednesday evening we bring to the table Na Barca de Fritto: a real wooden boat, filled with fish just arrived from the Pila fish market. A dusting of flour, the right heat, and the fried fish comes out crispy, dry, smelling of the sea. Nothing more, nothing less.

It is our tribute to those who set sail from these waters every morning, when it is still dark, and return with what the Po Delta has to offer. So it arrives at your table fresh, crispy and real like you won't find anywhere else.

What you find in the boat

Every week the best of what the Po Delta and the Adriatic have to offer. All the catch of the day, straight from the Pila fish market.

Na Barca de Fritto - typical contents:

  • Shrimps: crispy, sweet, from the market
  • Squid: tender inside, crispy outside
  • Sfoi: the small soles of the Po Delta, very delicate
  • Red mullet: the smell of the sea in one bite
  • Moletti: soft and tasty baby octopuses
  • Zanchette: small turbot, crispy and tasty
  • Sardines: fried according to Venetian tradition

The contents of the boat may vary depending on the catch of the day.
